Sign Guest Book Betty Hudlemeyer Betty Lou Hudlemeyer, 78, of Orrick, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, Mo. The daughter of Silsby Andrew and Nellie Geraldine (Good) Aldrich, she was born March 30, 1930 in Macon County, Mo. On July 29, 1951 at the Union Baptist Church in Orrick, Mo., she was united in marriage to Harold Eugene Hudlemeyer, who preceded her in death in 1996. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-in-law and two brothers, Lloyd Aldrich and Andrew Aldrich, Jr. Surviving are three children, Larry Hudlemeyer and wife, Katherine, Rapid City, S.D., Gary Hudlemeyerm Kansas City, Mo., and Cathy Jones and husband, Bryan, Richmond, Mo.; three sisters, Geraldine Davis and husband, Carl, Excelsior Springs, Mo., Mary Brown and husband, David, Mound Valley, Kans., and Bonnie Day, Higbee, Mo.; one brother, Billy Joe Aldrich and wife, Betty, Springfield, Mo.; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Betty was a graduate of Excelsior Springs High School. She graduated from beauty school and had worked as a beautician for several years. She had also been previously employed at Lake City Arsenal. Following her employment she was a homemaker. Betty was a lifetime member of the Golden Corral Restaurant Club and also the Union Baptist Church of Orrick. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the Union Baptist Church near Orrick, Mo. Burial will follow in the Union Cemetery.
