Sign Guest Book Bernice Rushton Bernice Rushton, 89, Holt, Mo., passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010 at her home. Bernice was born on August 24, 1921 in St. Thomas, Mo., the daughter of Conrad and Agnes (Kraus) Fennewald. She was married to Don Rushton, who preceded her in death on March 24, 1994. She had worked as a seamstress for a dry cleaner. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Excelsior Springs, Mo.; a member of the Red Hat Society; she was active with the O.A.T.S. organization; and also volunteered at the Good Samaritan Center. She loved traveling. Survivors include two daughters, Donna Niemeyer and husband, Paul, of Lawson, Mo., and Ronda Mitler and husband, Jim, of Holt, Mo.; two granddaughters; and six great-grandchildren. Cremation. Arrangements are through Polley Funeral Home, Lawson, Mo. Sincere sympathy. Fond memories of Bernice and Don when all of us were involved in the Carrollton Saddle Club.
