Dear Geneva and Family, our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you at this time. We all really enjoyed the times we were able to be with Gordon. Our Dad wanted you to know that he would be at the funeral if he could be, but has asked me to represent him, which I gladly do. You are all remembered in our prayers and thoughts.

Geneva and Family
My deepest sympathy's for your loss. Gordon was a big part of my childhood. I remember spending time at your place in Excelsior Springs having a great time during the cookouts and visiting with my parents. Gordon was always quick with a joke and good laugh. He will be deeply missed in our family.

I write this with a heavy heart,
There are no words to describe the emptiness that Gordon's passing has left us and everyone that knew him. He will be missed but never forgotten. The Carr family was an extension of our family. We go back 47 years, we raised our children together played together vacationed together. We went through rough times and happy times. We are still FAMILY, and you will always be there with us in memories.
May you rest in peace with all your loved ones in Heaven.
With love, The Shewmaker family
