Dearest Eason Family,
I am very saddened to hear of the passing of my dear sweet cousin, Jim Eason. Over the years, our family has had quite a stong bond, and many memories of Christmases together in both Kansas City, and Belle Plaine, Kansas, with my parents, Johnie and Joan Lawless. I always felt like Jim was the brother I never had. I loved him with all my heart and soul. He was such a funny, and very special person. He loved his children and grandchildren with such passion. He especially had a loving and caring bond with his longtime partner, Gail Vassmer. I am with your family in thought and in prayer. This is a very difficult time for all of us. I will miss Jim terribly, and especially miss his smile and laugh, and his jolly sense of humor, and love of life. God Bless all of you, and may he give you comfort during this most difficult time. Rest peacefully in God's loving arms, Jimmy. I love you.
Carol Ann Elsass (Lawless)
