Sign Guest Book Joe Rhodes Joe Dean Rhodes, 53, Shawnee, Kans., passed away, Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at the Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Mo. Mr. Rhodes was born March 9, 1958, in Aurora, Mo., the son of Billy Roy and Betty Lorene (Fieker) Rhodes. Joe worked at Axle Surgeons as a machinist for the last five years. Mr. Rhodes was preceded in death by his father, Billy Rhodes. In addition to his mother, Betty, he is survived by one daughter, Tera Deann Rhodes of St. Joseph, Mo.; two brothers, Jim Rhodes of Frankford, Ky., and Randy Rhodes of Shawnee, Kans.; one sister, Diana Rhodes of Springfield, Mo.; five grandchildren; three nieces; one nephew; and several great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 29, 2012 at the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, Mo., with visitation starting at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Joe Rhodes Memorial Fund or the Tree House for Kids.
