Sign Guest Book Leston "Morris" Crowley Leston Monroe "Morris" Crowley, 86, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away Thursday, January 5, 2012 at the Excelsior Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Leston was born on August 12, 1925 in Rayville, Mo., the son of Leston and Pearl Crowley. On April 18, 1945 he married Freda (Shelton) Crowley, who preceded him on death on July 12, 2007. He worked most of his life as a general contractor. In his youth, Leston enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved nature and the outdoors. There was never a story that he wouldn't tell about his life and love of the country. Leston is survived by nieces, nephews and friends. Besides his parents and wifem Freda, Leston was preceded in death by one son, Milton Crowley, and one daughter, Cara Ann Crowley. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2012 at the Pisgah Cemetery in Excelsior Springs, Mo. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, Mo. prior to services.
