Lyle "Chip" Taylor
Lyle Carl “Chip” Taylor, age 50, of Norborne, Mo., passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010 in Camden, Mo. Born October 21, 1959 in Neosho, Mo., he was the son of Gerald Dean and Wilma Lorene (Wills) Taylor. He was preceded in death by his father on June 14, 1995, two brothers, Donald Ward and Johnny Ward, and a nephew, David Wise. Surviving are three children, Shannon Dillon and Donald Taylor, both of Carrolton, Mo., and Sherri Beaton of Kansas City, Kans.; his mother, Wilma Taylor of Rolla, Mo.; three sisters, Sue Wise of Rolla, Mo., Darlene Miller of Lexington, Mo., and Jeanie Wise of Camden, Mo.; one brother, Jerry Taylor of Rayville, Mo.; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. “Chip” attended Richmond public schools and had worked at various jobs including Banquet Foods in Carrollton and Rooney Trucking in Polo, Mo. He enjoyed fishing and junking. Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Polley Funeral Home in Richmond, Mo. Burial in Southpoint Cemetery near Orrick, Mo. Visitation is Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
