Sign Guest Book Randy Gardner Sr. Randy Wayne Gardner, Sr., Richmond, Mo., passed away, Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at the North Kansas City Hospice House in North Kansas City. Mr. Gardner was born August 25, 1958, in Excelsior Springs, Mo., the son of Russell Franklin and Glenda (Cooper) Gardner. He married Debera Gardner on August 24, 2003; she preceded him in death on July 2, 2011. Mr. Gardner worked on the assembly line for Ford Motor Company for 22 years. The last seven years he has worked for Wal-Mart. In addition to his wife, Debera, he is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Russell Gardner, and a infant brother. Survivors include one son, Randy Wayne Gardner, Jr. and wife, Amy, of Richmond; one daughter, Melissa Dawn Gardner of Richmond; two sisters, Rita Cringan of Richmond, and Ronda Meirer of Millville, Mo.; nine grandchildren and three step-children. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m., Saturday, February 4, 2012, at the Church of God in Richmond, Mo. Memorial services will begin at 3 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Polley Funeral Home, Richmond, Mo.
