Haynes Ruth Marie Haynes, 85, of Richmond, Mo., formerly of Lawson, Mo., passed away Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond, Mo. Born July 29, 1924 in Council Bluffs, Iowa, she was the daughter of George W. and Catherine Elizabeth (Barker) McDonald, who preceded her in death. Surviving are her dear friends, Norma Wright and Laura and Robert Hatcher, all of Richmond, Mo., as well as many friends and neighbors. For several years Ruth was a bookkeeper at Kansas City White Goods and later worked for Bob’s IGA in Gladstone. She was a committee member of the Site Club and the Eagleton Center in Richmond. She enjoyed playing bingo and hand quilting. A graveside committal service will be held Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11 a.m. at the Lawson Cemetery in Lawson, Mo. Cremation.
